Last Call for Bantry 2016 Crowley Gathering

In approximately three months time, Crowleys from all over the world will convene on the picturesque town of Bantry in West Cork. If you plan to be one of them, now is the time to review your travel schedule and determine if all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.

There is still time to send in your registration fee of 150 Euros per person to our Crowley Clan Cisteoir (treasurer), James Crowley in Bantry.

James writes:

"As regards payment, login to PAYPAL, Select MONEY on the top toolbar, select SEND PAYMENTS down the left hand side, enter my email (James@obriencussen.com) in the box, enter (150 per person) in the amount box, select EUROS in the currency box, tick the box I'M SENDING MONEY TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS, press CONTINUE, and the process should be finished. I am looking forward to seeing you all in September."

The Maritime Hotel is the primary venue for the gathering, but you will find other hotels, B&Bs, and holiday house rentals on the internet. Bantry is a reasonably small town, and taxis are available.

Registration is scheduled to begin at 1400 hours (2:00 pm) at the Maritime.

At 1800 hours (6:00 pm) a wine and cheese reception will follow at J.J. Crowleys Pub which is a short walk from the Maritime.

Saturday and Sunday will be filled with sightseeing and field trips at historical areas which have special significance to the Crowley Clan. On Saturday there will be an outdoor Mass at Kilshallow, the traditional home of the Crowleys. And Sunday Also on Saturday night, there will be our traditional banquet at the Maritime Hotel.

West Cork is a wild and scenic land dotted with historical sites. Distances between towns are short, and the Irish roads are exciting!
